Christina earned her undergraduate degree from King University with majors in Psychology and English. She later received her Master’s in Community Counseling from Georgia State University and, with a desire to thoughtfully integrate faith and clinical practice, completed a Master’s in Christian Counseling through Richmont Graduate University.
For more than 25 years, Christina has worked as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), walking alongside young women through the many transitions, challenges, and questions that life can bring. She is also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), with additional focus in helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
Christina’s counseling style is warm, relational, and collaborative. Drawing from person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches, she strives to create a space where clients feel safe, known, and genuinely supported. She believes therapy works best when clients are actively engaged in the process and desires for each person to feel empowered, understood, and cared for as they move toward healing and growth.
Christina lives in Matthews, North Carolina with her husband of over 20 years and their three children.
